1- REGISTRATION
Registration to one of our trips formalized by the signing of a registration form, implies the unconditional acceptance of the conditions of sales. Any registration must be accompanied by the payment of the deposit requested on booking. The receipt of this deposit implies the reservation only within the limits of the available places. In case of acceptance, we will send you an invoice confirming confirmation. The balance of the price of the trip must reach us at least 35 days before the date of departure. However, if registration is less than 35 days before departure, the total price of the trip must be paid upon registration. If the balance of the trip is not received at least 35 days before the date of departure, ALPS OUTDOOR reserves the right to apply the cancellation fees provided for in the article “Cancellation”.
The names communicated during the registration are those which will appear on the air bookings if provided by us. These must imperatively match those on the passports, that will be used for the trip.
10 days before your departure and subject to your balance, you will be given or sent your travel documents containing all the necessary elements for the trip.
2- CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
1 / If the client is obliged to cancel his trip before it starts, he must inform ALPS OUTDOOR and his insurer by registered letter or by email with acknowledgment of receipt, as soon as the event giving rise to this cancellation occurs: the date of receipt of the writing will be retained as the cancellation date for the calculation of cancellation fees.
In the event of withdrawal more than 60 days before your departure, the sums paid will be refunded to you except for a lump sum of 50 € per person non refundable by the cancellation insurance.
From 60 days before departure, your withdrawal will result in the following deductions:
From 60 to 30 days: 35% of the price of the trip
From 29 to 15 days: 60% of the price of the trip
From 14 to 8 days: 80% of the price of the trip
Less than 8 days: 100% of the trip price
For any plane ticket or boat ticket issued in advance, whether at the customer’s request, or because of the policy of some airlines for certain types of fares, it will be retained: 100% of booking fees of boat or plane ticket whatever the date of cancellation.
These deductions can be reimbursed by a cancellation insurance after study of your file.
The amount of the insurance, passport and visa fees, as well as pre-departure fees: these fees are not refundable and are not taken into account by your possible cancellation insurance.
Special and special conditions regarding the amount of cancellation fees may be applied depending on the specificity of the destination and the group.
2 / The trip can be canceled by the organizer or the agency if the minimum number of participants is not reached:
20 days before the departure date, for trips longer than 6 days.
7 days before the departure date, for trips lasting 2 to 6 days.
48 hours before the departure date, for trips lasting 2 days.
The Traveler will then be refunded any sums he may have paid but can not claim compensation.
3 – INSURANCE
We can not substitute for the individual civil responsibility of each. It is essential to have a Civil Liability, and, it is strongly advised to have an insurance covering the expenses of cancellation – loss or theft of luggage and interruption of trip to participate in our stays and trips. It is obligatory to be covered in assistance repatriation, relief and research to participate in our stays. ALPS OUTDOOR can offer you to subscribe to one of our insurance packages. We invite you to check that you do not benefit from these guarantees.
If you justify a previous guarantee for the risks covered by the insurance purchased, you have the option to waive this insurance (s) without charge within 14 days of its conclusion and as long as no guarantee has not been implemented.
Cancellation insurance must be taken out at the time of registration.
An extract of our insurance contracts is provided with our data sheets. No modification will be possible once the insurance has been taken out. If you do not wish to subscribe to our Repatriation and Rescue Insurance, we will ask you for a letter of discharge and a certificate of your own insurance specifying the maximum amount of coverage for Medical Expenses / Repatriation Assistance / Rescue and Rescue Costs, the contract number and the 24-hour call number, the trip concerned, the dates of the trip and the persons guaranteed.
4 – LIABILITY
ALPS OUTDOOR can not be held responsible for the consequences of the following events:
– loss or theft of air fare tickets by the traveler, the airlines not issuing a duplicate
– impossibility for a participant to present documents in good standing on the day of departure;
– any delay (even resulting from a case of force majeure during a pre-shipment, implies your sole responsibility and the costs incurred by you.
– Incidents or unforeseeable and insurmountable events of a third such as: wars, political unrest, strikes, foreign riots, technical or administrative incidents outside Alps Outdoor, overcrowding of the airspace, inclement weather, delays (including dispatch of mail …), breakdown, loss or theft of luggage or other personal belongings of travelers;
– cancellation imposed by exceptional and unavoidable circumstances, and / or for reasons related to the maintenance of the safety of travelers, and / or injunction of an administrative authority: in this case, Alps Outdoor reserves the right to change the dates, Schedules or itineraries provided for the purpose of ensuring the safety of passengers, without recourse to them.
5 – ADMINISTRATIVE AND HEALTH FORMALITIES:
Alps Outdoor can not substitute its own responsibility for the individual responsibility of each participant. You must comply with police, customs and health regulations and formalities throughout the journey. Each participant will be responsible for obtaining all documents (identity documents, authorizations, visas and vaccines, ….) Required by the authorities of the countries visited. The information given on this subject by Alps Outdoor only concerns French nationals. Non-French nationals or bi-nationals are advised to consult the consulate or embassy of the countries of destination.

6 – TRANSFER OF THE CONTRACT
In accordance with Article L. 211-11 of the Code du Tourisme, you have the option to assign this contract as long as it has not produced any effect and up to 7 days of departure, by preventing Alps Outdoor 7 days at the latest before the beginning of the trip, to a person fulfilling the same conditions as you. You and the beneficiary of the assignment remain jointly and severally liable for the payment of the balance of the contract and the transfer fees that will be communicated to you.
7 – PARTICULARITIES OF OUR TRAVELS.
Given the sporty nature of our trips and stays, each traveler must ensure that his fitness is appropriate to the desired trip. Alps Outdoor reserves the right not to accept any participant who does not meet the fitness requirements specified in the data sheet. The supervisory staff chosen to accompany the group of travelers is the only judge during the trip, to carry out or modify the program planned to ensure the safety of travelers and the smooth running of the trip and to cope with unforeseen circumstances. He is also entitled to interrupt the trip of a participant for security reasons, without being able to contest the decision and request a refund or any compensation.
8 – TRANSPORT
Identity of the carrier: The identity of the carrier (s) likely to ensure your transport during your trip is indicated on the technical sheet of the trip. In case of modification after your registration, Alps Outdoor undertakes to communicate to you by any means, as soon as it becomes aware of it, any changes in the identity of the carrier or carriers, in particular air. In accordance with our obligation, we inform you that the European list of banned airlines can be consulted on the website: http://ec.europa.eu/transport/modes/air/safety/air-ban_en.
Changing transport schedules: We do not know the exact times of your transport (Ex: flights) at the time of the diffusion of our travel offer. In general, the first and last days of the trip are for transportation. For air transport, we inform you that the flight schedules may vary until the departure of the trip and this according to the traffic authorizations given by the competent authorities to companies. We give you the schedules as soon as they are confirmed by the carrier. We specify that stopover times are generally determined by the airlines, according to their flight plans and that they can be modified for reasons inherent in the regulation and circumstances outside the carrier, without this being a possibility. Reason for cancellation without charge. Any flight can occur at any time of the day and may involve reporting to the airport a few hours before the beginning of this day and up to 3 hours before.
Change of route, station, port and / or airport: Any carrier may be required to change without notice not only schedules but also the route and the stations, ports and / or airports of departure and destination, especially because of technical, climatic or political incidents or strikes outside Alps Outdoor. These events may result in delays, cancellations, or additional stops, change of aircraft, routes. In the case of air transport, the traveler holding a boarding pass remains under the protection and assistance of the airline.
Delay / cancellation of the transport services: In case of delay in the transport at the departure or the return of the trip, and / or damage or loss of luggage, refusal of boarding, and / or cancellation of flight by the company, we recommend to the traveler, to enable him to assert his rights, to keep all the original documents (tickets, boarding passes or baggage tags …) and to ask the carrier for any written proof. In the event that the traveler (s) decide (s) to waive the trip prior to the departure date due to the occurrence of the aforementioned changes while they do not affect any of the essential elements of the trip, he / they will be charged the cancellation / resolution fees mentioned in these conditions.
Non-realization of the transport service: In the event of non-realization of the transport service reserved by the fact of the traveler, for any reason outside Alps Outdoor, the ticket of transport and / or return will be canceled by the carrier. The traveler must then, to be able to make the necessary travel to continue the journey, buy at his own expense one or more tickets.
9 – PRICE REVISION
In accordance with articles L.211-12, R. 211-8 and R. 211-9 of the Code du tourisme, the prices provided for in the contract can be revised upwards or downwards to take account of variations in the cost of transport (fuel / energy), royalties and taxes, and exchange rates. You will be informed of any increase in the total price of the package, no later than 20 days before departure. For any increase above 8%, you will receive on a durable medium the details of the variation of the price, its consequences on the price of the package, the choice which is offered to you to accept or refuse in a reasonable time and consequences of lack of response.
10 – CLAIMS – DISPUTES
When a non-compliance is found on the spot, the traveler is obliged to report it to the contact below as soon as possible. Failure to report a non-compliance on the spot may have an influence on the amount of any damages or price reduction due if reporting without delay could have avoided or reduced the customer’s damage. The traveler can also ask for help from the contact above in case of difficulty on site.

In the absence of a satisfactory response within 60 days or if the client is not satisfied with the response received, the client may enter the Tourist and Travel Ombudsman free of charge, whose details and referral methods are available on the website. : www.mtv.travel. If the sale is made online, the traveler can use the platform available on https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr to settle his dispute.
11 – TRAVELER’S RIGHTS
The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302 and Article L.211-2 II of the Tourism Code. You will therefore benefit from all the rights granted by the European Union applicable to packages, as transposed in the tourism code. Alps Outdoor will be fully responsible for the proper execution of the package as a whole. In addition, as required by law, Alps Outdoor has protection to reimburse your payments and, if transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation should it become insolvent.
12 – PERSONAL INFORMATION
The information you give us is stored in a file computerized by Alps Outdoor. You have the right to access and modify information about you. We inform you that in order to allow the execution of your trip, your data may be transmitted to suppliers of services reserved services (hoteliers, carriers …) or technical providers (IT, hosting, distribution of emails, payment provider online, etc.), which may be located outside the European Union. We have agreed with our partners that they use your personal data only to perform certain tasks essential to the completion of your trip. Alps Outdoor undertakes not to transfer or sell your personal data to non-partner third parties. Your data is kept for the duration of our contractual relationship and for the duration necessary to meet a legal or regulatory obligation. In accordance with the Legislation in force, you have a right to access and rectify your personal data and a right of objection for legitimate reason to the processing of your personal data. You can, at any time, oppose the reception of Alps Outdoor commercial e-mails through an unsubscribe link on these e-mails. We remind you that you have the right to ask the data controller for access to personal data, the rectification or deletion of personal data, or a limitation of the treatment of the data subject, or the right to oppose treatment and the right to portability of data.
