14 August:  Venise → Belluno

Group pick-up from Venice Marco Polo Airport, then transfer to the town of Belluno (97 km, 1 hour 10 minutes drive)
Check into the hotel and enjoy free time.

15 August:  🥾 Belluno → Lago di Brais(1496m) → Rif Biella(2327m) → Munt  de Sennes(2176m)

Departure from the hotel at 8:00 AM by private transfer to Lago di Brais, a 120-kilometer drive of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Walk along this legendary lake with emerald waters nestled in the majestic landscapes of the Fanes-Senes-Braies natural park.
After lunch and rest, we set off on our hike.
Three people will stay overnight at Rif Biella (2327m), while the remaining 11 people will stay at Rifugio Munt de Sennes.

17 August:  🥾 Rifugio Fanes(2060 m)  → Rif Lagazuoi (2752 m)

Elevation gain📈: About +1 050 ~ 1 150 m
Altitude drop📉: Abou −400 ~ −450 m
Hiking time 🕒: About 5 h 30 ~ 7 h

👉The journey includes a few minor descents during the total elevation change of 1,100 meters, until the final arrival at the Forcella/Lago mountain refuge and Rifugio Lagazuoi.

18 August:  🥾 Rifugio Lagazuoi (2752 m) → Rifugio Fedare (2000m) or hotel in the valley

👉First descent to Passo Falzarego / Forcella Travenanzes, then gentle descent before climbing back up to the Giau pass, and finally to the Fedare refuge in the Giau valley.

You will have your transfered luggage for the night

19 August:  🥾 Rifugio Fedare(2000m) → Passo Staulanza(1780m)

Elevation gain📈: About +550 ~600 m
Altitude drop📉: About −1 300 ~  1 630 m
Hiking time 🕒: About 5 h 30 ~ 7 h

👉 The difficulty of this day’s hike lies in the significant descent, with several sections of moderate-intensity ascent

💡 There are different route options: the l’Alta Via 1 route, or Giau Pass, Forcella Ambrizzola, and other passes, resulting in varying distances

20 August:  🥾 Rif Passo Staulanza(1780 m) → Rif Coldai(2135 m)

Elevation gain📈: About +750 ~850 m
Altitude drop📉: About −450 ~550 m
Hiking time 🕒: About 4 h 30 ~ 5 h 30

👉 The initial section is a significant drop, followed by a sustained ascent.

⚠️ A tough day, but the scenery is wonderfum (you will see Le Civetta 💥). There isn’t much shade along the way, so bring enough water and sunscreen. Coldai Pass is often cool and windy.

21 August:  🥾  Rif Coldai (2135 m)→ Rif Carestiato(1834 m)

Altitude drop📉: About −950 ~1050 m
Hiking time 🕒: About 4 h 30 ~ 5 h 30

👉 The hiking difficulty mainly decreases, but there is also an ascent to Forcella Col Negro (~2,203 m).

⚠️ There is a long descent and gravel sections, so use your walking stick as much as possible and bring enough water. There aren’t many water stations along the way, depending on the season.

22 August:  🥾  Rif Carestiato(1834 m) → Rif Sommariva al Pramperet(1 857 m)

Elevation gain📈: About +850 ~950 m
Altitude drop📉: About −1 150 ~1 250 m
Hiking time 🕒: About 6 h 30 ~ 8 h

👉 The intensity is extremely high that day

⚠️ This hike is rarely taken and is very strenuous. Be extremely careful in bad weather, as the path is narrow and slippery, and there is no option to end the hike prematurely

23 August:  🥾 Sommariva al Pramperet( 1 857 m ) → Rifugio Furio Bianchet(1 245 m)

Walking distance📏: About 10~12km
Elevation gain📈: About +600 ~700 m
Altitude drop📉: About −1300 ~1 450 m
Hiking time 🕒: About 5 h 30 ~ 7 h

👉 A significant downward section, but with a major upward movement in the middle (Forcella del Pramperet).

⚠️ Make sure to use your trekking poles properly. Be careful of slippery trails in bad weather, especially on the last section.

24 August:  🥾 Rifugio Furio Bianchet(1 245 m) → La Stanga，transfer to Venice

After successfully completing the Alti Via 1 hike in La Stanga, you will be taken by private car to your Venice hotel to rest and relax.

The program is given as an indication. Due to weather, safety and the fitness of the group the guide may change the itinerary. Although we try to respect the program, sometimes things need to be changed. This adjustment may change the exact distance walked in a day, and the accommodation described in the itinerary can be modified, in this case, hotels of the same standard will be used
Given the sporting nature of this trip, each traveler must ensure that their physical condition is suitable. Alps Outdoor reserves the right not to accept any participant who does not meet the physical fitness requirements specified in the technical sheet. The management personnel chosen to accompany the group of travelers are the sole judge during the trip, to execute or modify the planned program, in order to ensure the safety of the travelers and the smooth running of the trip and to deal with unforeseen events. He also has the right to interrupt a participant’s trip for security reasons, without being able to contest the decision and request a refund or any compensation.

Those rates are valid for a minimum group of 8 participants and are subject to availability on the day of booking. The reservation will be confirmed when deposits will be received

Payment schedule:
– Deposit on booking: 30 %
– 30 days before departure: 70 %

Total cancellation:
If the total cancellation of the trip was to be notified by the client, Alps Outdoor would be entitled to collect a penalty calculated as follows:
– More than 90 days before departure: 10 % of the total amount
– From 89 to 45 days before departure: 20 % of the total amount
– From 44 to 30 days before departure: 30 % of the total amount
– From 29 to 15 days before departure: 50 % of the total amount
– From 14 to 8 days before departure: 80 % of the total amount
– Less than 7 days before departure: 100 % of the total amount

If the number of people in the group is less than the minimum size of 8 people: revaluation of the unit price by an amendment to the contract or cancellation according to the total cancellation policy
